Confession. One of my favorite "kid movies" How to Train your Dragon. Santa brought it to the kids last x-mas, we watched it once and then I asked them to start it again, I love that movie.
Thank you! I'd never considered them before, but someone we knew was selling them and hubby jumped at the chance. They're so friendly... they deel a bit strange to hold, but not in a bad way. I love them!
Another dragon lover!!! I've blogged a couple times about the beardie Santa brought my daughter. I couldn't stand the thought of it living in my house but now I find myself spending more time with it than she does. Happy A-Z!
Yes, they really draw you to them, don't they? My one cat is fascinated, though not as much as she is excited by the boxes of critters we got to feed them with. *snort*
I never thought I would like anything scaley either, but bearded dragons are just so cute! Their characters really shine through. Already I know which one is which - not by the markings, but by their behaviour.
Good to have you back Tara! I needed a good chuckle and you've supplied it most generously.
A friend is breeding some sort of giant insect (10 cm long) at the moment and says they make great pets because they sit on you pretending to be a leaf - it doesn't do it for me, I like cuddly.
The ones you've shown look similar to the ones we get in the outback. Neat!
I couldn't do insects. We've got a couple of boxes of crickets and locusts to feed the beardies, and the hubby is definitely in charge of those. I stick to feeding time when it's veggies only. *snort*
pinky and perky -unique names for dragons :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha... yeah. The hubby suggested and the daughter agreed. I was out-voted... I wanted Samson and Delilah. *snort*
DeleteDragons, nice post :)
ReplyDeleteDo check out my D at GAC a-z
Thanks! And will do!
DeleteWhat a cool pet! My brother had one once.
ReplyDeleteThey ARE cool! Hubby really wanted a snake (or a tarantula), but I'm SO happy we went for these. :)
DeleteTrust you to be draggin' this into the A - Z challenge.
ReplyDeleteHahaha...I HAD to... they arrived just in time for the letter 'D' after all. :P
DeleteThey look amazing. Almost prehistoric. (Excuse my ignorance if they actually are prehistoric)
ReplyDeleteI don't know if they're prehistoric or not... they're gorgeous though.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE that movie! One of the best kiddie movies in a long while! *nods*
DeleteLove the results so far keep it up. As for pinky and perky I think you've been unduly influenced by Norberta's human parent.*giggles*
ReplyDeleteHahahaha... actually, Pinky and Perky came from the hubby. From an old kiddie's show, I think!
DeleteDRAGONS! I love dragons. I definitely wish I could have one as a pet. Awesome post and happy A-Z blogging.

DeleteYay for dragons. They are definitely cool creatures... or hot creatures I guess. :)
ReplyDeleteYup, very cool!
DeleteI'm not much of a scaley person myself. BUT if they were fire breathing, winged dragons, I think I could look past the scales. I'd probably be BBQ.

DeleteReally dragons? wow? Interesting :)
ReplyDeleteYup, dragons. Awesome little lizards!

Thanks Sue!

I usually prefer furry, cuddly pets. But i wouldn't mind having a fire breathing dragon as one, too.
ReplyDeleteGreat A-Z post!

Oh, I love my furry kitty cats to bits, but these beardies are quite affectionate too. I'm definitely a convert!
DeleteEek! Um, no thanks.
